Stokesay Castle

Stokesay Castle.
Shropshire.
Again, something I
came across by accident.







It's on the border
between England and Wales.
It was built around the
13th century.

In the 19th century the
castle was sympathetically
restored and preserved.





When I arrived in the
late afternoon they
were just packing up
after having a display
of old weapons and
farm impliments.
