On the way to Snowdonia.
A bit cool and overcast.
That's a ruined castle on
the right.

It was cold and wet on this
day. I stopped at the pub at
Pen-y-pass to warm up and
get dry by the open fire.
The boots are from the
Hillary climbing team, who
practiced here before their
assault on Mt. Everest.
Some of the staff here were
Australians. We're everywhere!

This is one of the youth
hostels in Snowdonia,
although I didn't stay in
this one.

Some of the countryside.
Nice, huh?

A slate mine.
Wales is famous for slate.

When the sun came out
the riding and scenery
were pretty nice.

A farm house in a nice valley.
