Saintes

Saintes is on the
Charente River and
was a Roman town
from about 20 B.C.








This Roman ruin
used to be the
entrance to a bridge
over the river.








Most towns I visited
in France were having
a music festival, and
Saintes was on exception.







At night there was
a rock concert, which
consisted of drums
and fireworks.
