The Pyrenees

Three Austrian BMW
riders I met on the way
to the Pyrenees.
The one in red is a
woman.

The beginning of
the Pyrenees.
Lots of nice twisty
roads.

The mountains
here go almost
straight up.

A random chateau
along the way.

The town of Lourdes
which gets about
5 million tourists
each year.

The grotto where
pilgrims go to drink
the water in the hope
it will cure any ailments
they may have.

One of about 270
hotels in Lourdes.
The only other place
with more hotels is
Paris.

There are hundreds
of shops like these
selling all sorts of
religious souvenirs.

On the road again
with beautiful
weather and scenery.

The town of
Cauterets.
A ski resort in
the winter.

I took the cable car
up the valley.

I don't what the
point of these is.
Do you keep things
in your underpants?
