Normandy

A reconstructed church
in Normandy that was
destroyed during WW II.

A photo taken in 1944.

Omaha Beach today.
Hard to imagine what
it was like in 1944.

One of many old
German gun
emplacements.

Looking out over
the English Channel.

A machine gun
bunker.

This street probably
looks the same now
as it did in 1944.

Remains of pontoons
used to construct the
Mulberry B Harbour used
during D-Day, 1944.
It's at Arromanches.
Mulberry A was at Omaha
Beach but was destroyed
by a storm.

Arromanches.
I found a shop that sold WW II
memorabilia and I bought 3
magazines printed by the
Germans during their
occupation of France.
