Les Baux de Provence

A seller of garlic in
St. Remy de Provence.

Les Baux de Provence
is a medieval fort
dating back to the
middle of the 1oth century.

Apparently bauxite
was discovered here
and was named after
the town.

They have stocks for
unruly children.
Very sensible.

A replica of a
trebuchet.
The guy was about
to shoot off a large
white ball.

A replica catapult.
I made a model
years ago that is
almost exactly like
this.

The countryside
around Les Baux de
Provence.
Mostly citrus orchards.

I do guided safaris
of the local area.
Don't expect any
elephants.
