The Lake District

One of the prettiest places
in England, except when
it's raining.
Well, it's still pretty nice.

The youth hostel I
stayed at in Ambleside.

The view from my
bedroom window.

Some dark and
gloomy weather
rolling in.

A view from up on high.

One of a few nice
old pubs I found.

Some of the roads
around the Lake
District that make
riding a pleasure.

The Struggle was so
named because it was
a struggle for the old
horse drawn carriages.

The Struggle as seen
from Kirkstone Pass.

The Kirkstone Pass Inn.
Built in 1496.
It is supposed to
be haunted.

Inside the inn.
It was cold and
windy outside.

Some nice old
wooden boats
that you can hire.

A late afternoon shot.
