In 2007 I was left some money and I decided to do a motorcycle trip around Britain and France. I bought a second-hand BMW 650 in England and set off along the coast heading west.
I was originally going to spend just a couple of weeks in Britain, but I liked it so much that I eventually spent two months there.
I spent a further two months riding around France, with some side trips to Barcelona, Amsterdam and Brugge.
My favourite part was France. All of it! If France wasn't so far away, and wasn't so expensive, and I didn't have to speak French, I'd live there. For sure.
Start at the beginning, the earliest post, and work your way forward.

You see the strangest things
A pub in Wales I passed
on the way from Llangollen
to Chester.
It's pronounced Clangoclen,
by the way.

A great blog, Robert, and thanks for sharing your adventure with this old fart. You are travelling much of the area I bicycled over as a youngster. Being born in Shropshire and raised in Staffordshire, it was nostalgic 2-wheels territory for me. Stay well and continue to have fun, Stephen #1
