Out in the country

After the congestion of the
coast road, which was made
worse by the Easter holidays,
I finally get out into some
country roads.

Here I am at the White Horse Inn
at a place called Litton Cheney.
There are a few houses, the YHA
hostel and the pub. That night
I had a few beers there and played
darts with the barmaid and
a mechanic who I had met the
previous day at a motorcycle shop.

You see, I hit a post with one of
my panniers and put a big crack
in it. Silly me, but the bike is
wider than I am used to.

The other pub is in Burton
Bradstock, Dorset.
